Elizabeth Arden Sheer Lights illuminating Pen in Warm Swatch

What I like about it...
* not overly priced, I've seen this retails for $10 - $15 at Amazon.com
* has a mild scent
* convenient packaging because of the twist and brush tip design
* sturdy and sleek packaging, made from thicker plastic
* not drying at all, feels almost like a tinted moisturizer
* does not sit on fine lines
* I usually apply this to lighten my mildly dark circles and it does the trick
* did not irritate my eyes

What I don't like...
* might be a little too sheer, so I usually let it dry just a bit before I start blending
* it does not cover blemishes, but it can lighten dark circles
* product has been discontinued

My rating: 3 / 5

This illuminating pen really does what it claims to be. It does not function as a concealer but more like a highlighter. It really brightens up my face. As you can see in photo above, it made my eyes look less tired and made it appear brighter. I would recommend this to those that have mild dark circles, since this only gives light coverage.

Until next time.

Cheerios!

  1. Wow, definitely sounds like ysl's touche eclat! I'm using l'oreal's lucent magique foundation, and I'm getting the highlighting pen soon, as elizabeth arden and ysl are too expensive for me. Great review, hollie!

  2. Big difference. I like the effect. I've only used a few items from Elizabeth Arden, but they have all been great. I might give it a try.

  7. Could you please tell me the color difference between the "02 natural" and "03 warm" shades? I'm ordering online and it doesn't show the difference in color. Thank you!
