Me Time at Mayet Beach Resort in Bantayan Island
10:00:00 AMGood Day ladies! It has been a while since I posted something personal and non-beauty related. I recently went to Bantayan Island with my office mates last week and so I thought I'd share a few beach photos with you.
Being married and being a mom of two doesn't give me much time for myself. This year, I decided to have some "Me Time" and joined our team building activity (Systems Department). They actually do this every year but I always end up not joining because I can't bring myself to leave my kiddos for more than a day. hehe (moms will be moms) However, I felt like this break was long overdue, so I took the chance and finally joined my team's summer outing.
We stayed at Mayet Beach Resort in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island. The Island was actually one of the most affected places during Super Typhoon Yolanda and we're just happy to see that most part of the island has been repaired.
I haven't seen crystal clear blue waters like this in a really long time and place was just a breath of fresh air. Amidst the scorching heat ,the beach was was so clean and serene that I ended up staring at it. Of course with an inner self dialogue in my head "darker skin awaits me, but I sure am glad I came here!"
Under the heat of sun, we soaked in the beach for hours!
The fun won't be complete without a Jump Shot!
I met a very friendly black Labrador who keeps following me around. She even followed me to the beach and swam with me! She (the dog) happens to live in the resort and no one actually owns her. So we just pet her and feed her a little bit during our stay. Just in case you are curious to know more about pets, I would recommend visiting this site for more info on pets.

I had a blast with these guys and I really felt I was a kid again! I hope to have more "Me Time" in the future. (Crossing fingers, hoping for Hubby to read this. LOL) hehe
Until next time.
Cheerios!

I definitely know what you mean about moms needing 'me time'. My mom took a month long trip by herself to the Philippines a few months back and I'm sure she enjoyed being 'single' for a month :D
ARGH that dog is too cute!!! I want to adopt all the homeless dogs in the Philippines and just party with them. It'll be amazing.
