I blogged about this Sigma kit when it first came out a couple of months ago. Imagine how excited I was when I finally got my hands on the Sigma Beauty SigmaTech Essential Brush Set! woohoo! Anyway I've been using this set all week long, turns out I was right when I decided that this is the perfect brush set in my opinion...

As for the quality, there is no question these are superb brushes. The handle and ferule are sturdy and the bristles are so soft that it will make you keep wanting to use them. (guilty here ^_^) I washed these brushes before using them for the first time, and I'm relieved that the bristles remained intact and I didn't see any shedding or bleeding as well.

From the name itself "Essential", I find that these brushes are all you need for everyday use. Most of these brushes can be used for different functions as I find them to be multi-tasking brushes. If you're just starting out, I would highly recommend this set.
