So what is Niacinamide? It is a form of chemical exfoliant that works to tighten enlarged pores. Niacinamide aka (Vitamin B3) is indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. It improves skin texture and smoothness, whilst calming any breakouts and reducing excess oils.
Zinc is an anti-inflammatory ingredient, commonly used to treat burns and scars and fight against free radicals.
While Niacinamide and Zinc PCA reduce the look of blemishes and balance visible sebum activity, this is NOT a treatment for acne.
Contraindications: If Vitamin C is used as part of skincare, it should be applied at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM). Otherwise, Niacinamide can affect integrity of the Vitamin C.

The Ordinary Niacinamide serum has greatly improved my skin texture and overall appearance.
- My skin looks really smooth and it has visibly shrunk my pores especially on the center of my face.
- It has also helped lightened my per-existing acne scars, especially on my forehead and cheek area.
- I also noticed that my skin has become less oily especially in the T-Zone area

Overall all, this has really been effective for me. While I am still on
the hunt for better acne care, I will definitely keep the Ordinary Niacinamide in
my skincare routine.
