I really want to try the Fluidline Brow Gelcreme in Dirty Blonde and Pro Longwear Brow Set in Quite Brunette. I feel like those two will work really well with my current hair color.
Also, if you are already familiar with the original MAC Brow Set which only comes in 3 shades (Girl Boy, Beguile, & Show Off). You will surely love the new Pro Longwear Brow Set because I have a good feeling, a good match awaits you with the new set of colors they offer. In addition to that, the brush applicator is much smaller than the original, which makes it easier to control while grooming your brows.
Please do share your experiences if you've already tried some of the new brow products, I would love to know what you think about them. ^_^
These are already available at our local MAC counters, so do check it out!

I already posted a review on the Mac Brow Set HERE last year when I first got the shade in Show-Off. But this time around I got all three shades with me, since I use them on clients.
So I thought that this would be a good chance to show you the difference between the three shades.

Mac Brow Set in Show-Off
Mac Brow Set in Beguile
Mac Brow Set in Girl Boy
I filled in my brows using the Etude House Easy Brow Pencil in No. 1
before I applied the Mac Brow Set.
I use Mac Brow Set in Beguile on a regular basis since, it is the shade that suites me the most. The Mac Brow Set in Girl Boy usually looks great on fair skinned ladies, especially the ones that had their hair color changed. Girl Boy looks too orange on my brows, so I don't use it. Mac Brow Set in Show-Off looks more like a reddish brown tint, so it suits ladies who are sporting a similar hair color.
The Mac Brow Set now retails for Php 1000.00 EACH on our local MAC counters. It used to be priced at Php 850.00 a couple of years ago but it had a price increase.
Until next time.

I am one of those ladies who prefer to use an eyebrow pencil since it is much easier and faster to apply. However, an eyebrow powder usually gives the most natural look. Most of the time I just use a matte brown eyeshadow if I feel like grooming my brows with powder.
I have tried using the In2it Brow Powder and the Wet n Wild Brow kit. Both comes with brown shades that have too much yellow undertone to it. I am glad the Catrice Eyebrow Set has a slightly ashy undertone, because their shades are the closest match to my natural eyebrow color.
Would definitely recommend this to those fond of using eyebrow powder. Apart from the affordable price, it has a quality that delivers.
Until next time.

This is the cutest eyebrow set I have seen to date. It is housed in this solid little compact which comes with a mirror. The back portion of the case can be pulled open which carry tiny tweezers and a double-ended angle brush and spoolie.

This is how the Darker shade looked on my brows using the applicator that came with it.

* comes with mirror, brush and tweezers which are surprisingly functional
* the shades looks natural on my brows
* has decent staying power, started to fade after 4 hours (without wax or brow gel)

What I don't like...
* slightly chalky especially when I dip my angled brow brush on to the product
* not easily available, can be bought in European countries
My rating: 4 / 5

I have been really loving the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil so I ran out of it in just 3 months. Unfortunately, shade no. 1 which is dark brown always goes out of stock so I opted to try the Etude House Easy Brow Pencil instead. It instantly became my new fave.

* it has very soft and smooth texture
* decent staying power, it lasts about 8 hours on me (normal skin)
* comes with a brow brush
What I don't like...
* needs to be sharpened
* it would have been great if this came with a spoolie instead of a small brush

Dark Brown Swatch
Before and After applying the brow pencil
Overall, I really like this brow pencil. It gives a really natural look on my brows and does not look overdone at all. The texture is a bit similar to the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil but based on shade, this is slightly lighter. I am using shade no.1 Dark Brown for both Drawing Eye Brow Pencil and Easy Brow Pencil. The only reason why I prefer using this Easy Brow Pencil is that it doesn't break easily. With the Drawing Eye Brow Pencil, the brow lead the comes with it tends to snap easily since it is retractable.

It hasn't been that long since I've started to groom my brows. If your not someone who wears makeup often, you'll be surprised to see how much well groomed brows can make you look pretty and polished.
Etude House Ayala Center Cebu Branch recently opened so I went in to check out some of their stuff. I found the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil because the price caught my attention. It is sold for only Php128.00. So, I started swatching and liked the formulation of the product. I bought shade #01 which is dark brown.

Left: No Flash, Right: With Flash
What I like about it...
* inexpensive
* it comes with a spoolie brush, which makes it convenient
* applies light but buildable
* has a soft texture but not waxy
* glides easily
* has a flat tip, which makes it easier to create thin or thick lines
* lasts long, it starts to fade after 6 hours on me
* doesn't need sharpening since it is retractable
* the spoolie brush is not too stiff
What I don't like...
* has a tendency to break easily, so you have to be careful not to twist too long
* contains less product, the length of the eyebrow pencil is about the same height as your thumb
* will only last for 1 to 2 months, if used everyday
My Rating: 4 / 5
using shade #01 on my eyebrow
I just love that this is so easy and convenient to use. Plus it's cheap. I already found the perfect eyebrow color for me, which is the Mac Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering topped with Mac Brow Set in Beguile. However, if I buy both of those, it would be too pricey. So, I will settle with the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil for now. ^_^
This is my old eyebrow routine
I used the Styli-Style Flat Pencil in Tokyo for my brows then just groomed it with the Marionnaud spoolie. But the formulation of the Styli-Style Pencil is a bit thick, since it's an eyeliner so it tends to be waxy. I'm really glad that I found the Etude House Drawing Eye brow Pencil because my old method takes more time to finish.
Until next time.

* doesn't make my brows stiff
* stays on all day

* keeps my brows well groomed
* has a light consistency, not thick at all, so you don't have to worry about making your brows look too dark
* very pigmented, you can use it without the need to line your brows with an eye liner
What I don't like...
* it's so pricey, but it's got really good quality
* has very fine shimmers, but it's unnoticeable so it's okay

Would I recommend it? Yes, but If you can find something that gives a similar result for a lower price, that would be great.
