Finally, after using this product for over a month I'm now ready to make a review on the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque.  After all the raves I've seen about this product, I was so happy when I found it at "Healthy Options" SM City Cebu Northwing branch.


I had a terrible breakout last month and I just happen to see this product in one of xteener's videos on Youtube.  I wasn't really looking for it, because I simply thought that this isn't available locally.  But when I made a visit to Healthy Options, I saw this on the skin care shelf.  Just imagine how surprised  I was to see this! So, I quickly picked it up, checked the price, and headed straight to the cashier.

* inexpensive
* spearmint scent
* has a lot of product, 8 oz.
* gives a minty tingling sensation
* feels squeaky clean and refreshing after use
* it really does a good job of drying out pimples
* my face feels so smooth and relaxed after using
* no allergic reactions or irritation experienced
* squeeze type tube packaging is awesome, unlike other masques that comes in a jar.

* I have to rinse more than once to completely remove the product
* takes about 15 minutes for the product to complete dry up
* doesn't completely remove pimples, it only shrinks and dries it up
* it would have been better if the cap was a flip type so that it won't fall off every time I open it.
* can be drying, (for reference I have normal to dry skin, I don't have enlarged pores, and I don't have noticeable blackheads)

I used this every night during the first week. That was when I noticed that my breakouts have really dried up and the bumps have flattened. Since then, I have been applying this masque once or twice a week, and has kept me from having occasional bumps.

Will I repurchase? Maybe. I just don't feel that I really need this.  However, If you have large pores and have oily skin, I would highly recommend for you to try out this product.

I just fell in love with this bright, reddish pink lipstick shade from the Revlon Super Lustrous line. It's just a total head turner and I received so many compliments with this lipstick that I just had to share it with you. The camera washed out the color a little, but this looks more red in person.

I was playing around with my Dollface Avant Garde palette and I just created my first look using it.  Here goes nothing!




I didn't have a plan or whatsoever as to the kind of look I wanted, I just went with the flow and used shades that caught my eye. I used a total of 6 colors for this look. I didn't do anything especial to it, all I did was blend, blend and blend.

This is just an EOTD because I really didn't plan wearing makeup at the time. I didn't use any eye primer and the colors were still so vibrant!  If you also noticed, my skin looked a little shiny, simply because I didn't put anything on my face, hence the EOTD...LOL

Please let me know what you think about this look. I'd appreciate it!

I have been looking for the Caronia Sweet Bliss Collection here in Cebu for some time now, but I just couldn't get my hands on any.  So, I got tired of waiting and found these beautiful nail polishes from Klik instead. I'm just glad to have found them, they're only Php 14.50 each at Metro Ayala Center Cebu.


These nail polishes are very sheer and I had to apply three coats for the colors to really show. But it's pretty much what I expected from a cheap nail polish, so I can't complain.  The last one on the right "Glow" is retailed at Php 19.50 it's the only one with a different price because it actually a "Glow in the Dark" nail polish! How cool is that!

After months of saving for this, I finally got my hands on the Dollface Avant Garde Palette... Yeepee!  I played with this palette right after I got it and here's what I have to say about it.

* inexpensive
* 88 gorgeous colors to choose from
* very pigmented
* the powder is really fine
* has a soft and smooth texture
* not chalky at all, I don't have to worry about dipping my brush too strong
* really easy to blend
* stays long on lids even without using an eye primer, I tried wearing this for about 5 hours without any primer and it didn't fade at all!
* no allergies or irritation experienced
* available locally

What I don't like...
* Absolutely Nothing! I can't think of any...LOL

In conclusion, this is a palette every lady should have.  Dollface offers several palettes to choose from. You can also check out their Earth Color palette or the Dollface Palette which carries really pretty shades as well.  So, I'd definitely recommend this product.
