A few months ago, I received an email request from a reader asking me to swatch my MAC C40 Powder Foundation since she found it really hard to look for a swatch on the C40 shade.  I know this is long overdue, but I wanted to wait when I could buy a new compact since the one I currently have already hit pan.

I have been really loving the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil so I ran out of it in just 3 months. Unfortunately, shade no. 1 which is dark brown always goes out of stock so I opted to try the Etude House Easy Brow Pencil instead.  It instantly became my new fave.

I've been looking for a large fluff brush for a while now, something similar to the MAC 227. Because I find it really perfect for setting powder on my under eye area.  I was searching online shops for a MAC 227 brush dupe, but the closest one I found was the Sigma E50 Large Fluff brush. I still find that a little pricey so I looked into charm brushes, and what do you know I found a large blending brush. I know this isn't a dupe but it does the job.

I haven't done a tag in while because I keep forgetting which bloggers tagged me...LOL!  So, for those who tagged me in the past and didn't do a post about it, I sincerely apologize. I wanna give you all a virtual hug. ^_^

I have been waiting to try out the Wet n Wild I Heart Matte Palette ever since I saw Becky of Everyday Makeup Blog talk about this when it came out last year.  I find this palette very unique, since I rarely see eyeshadow palettes that are both bright and completely matte.

I was ecstatic when I found this online through ebay.ph.  Most of the 8-pan palettes available at the mall were from the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection but didn't find I Heart Matte at all. I'm so glad that I saw this online.


I just love how pigmented these shadows are. You can never go wrong with Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Palettes, they always deliver. I'm quite happy with the texture of these eye shadows. They aren't chalky at all and very easy to blend.  The size of each eyeshadow reminds me of their Trio palettes.


The swatches were applied dry and without a base. I just used the sponge tip applicator that came with the palette.  Photos where taken without flash, I just used my desk lamp for lighting.

I've simply been hooked with Bath & Body Works PocketBac hand gel sanitizers this year, I can't count how many bottles I've emptied out but did find a few in my stash. I just love these anti-bacterial hand gel sanitizers because they smell divine. There are times that I feel like I don't need to put on cologne or perfume anymore, since the scent of this sanitizers quickly fills any room when I apply them on my hand.

Before I tried using the Mac Brush Cleanser I was used to washing my make-up brushes with just a mixture of liquid hand soap and baby shampoo.  I cleaned my brushes this way every two weeks. I got tired of doing this because my brushes takes too long to dry and sometimes the face brushes has to be washed twice before I dry them out.  Another thing, the brush ferule gets wet most of time and I'm afraid it might cause my brushes to start shedding.

A few months ago, I finally decided to buy the Mac Brush Cleanser. I've used this cleanser for a couple of times during my Mac stints in Rustan's Ayala Center Cebu and I was impressed with how quick it cleans the brushes.

I accidentally found this eyeshadow palette while I was perusing through random items on ebay.ph.  When I saw the name of the product Baked Eyeshadow, I was sold. I've been wanting to try baked eyeshadows for a really long time now. In addition to that, it's from Jesse's Girl Cosmetics. The company is based in the US and is currently endorsed by a popular YouTube beauty guru known as Julie G.
