I know a lot of girls who loves matte lipsticks, and I am one of those. When I found out that BYS Matte Lipsticks only cost Php299 each, I said to my self, I have to check that out. And so I did.

I quickly fell in love with this shade when I first saw it during the BYS Makeup 101 event held here in Cebu last July. The BYS Matte Lipsticks comes a wide range of colors, and I bet you'll see shades that are very similar to popular MAC lippies.
The BYS Matte Lipstick comes in this black twist up tube with a transparent cover made from plastic material. I am pleased that the cover is transparent because it is much easier to see the lipstick color inside the tube without having the need to open it. My only complaint is that, the lipstick does not go all the way down when you close it, which is very similar to the Wet n Wild mega last lipsticks.

What I like about it...
* inexpensive
* available in a wide array of colors
* unscented
* matte finish
* lasts long on my lips, about 4 hours before it starts to fade
* excellent color payoff
What I don't like...
* can be drying, so you have to apply lip balm prior to application
* does not glide easily and tends to tug my lips
* tends to settle on my lip lines
* feels a bit heavy on my lips, I feel like I applied a clay-like texture on my lips

Unfortunately, I did not like the formulation of this matte lipstick. I have tried matte lipsticks from various brands like MAC, Revlon, Wet n Wild, etc. and I have to say that this is more drying the the latter. But, if you are interested in trying matte lipsticks that comes in a variety of shades without the hefty price tag, I'd say give this a go. The shade Day Dreamer is just an absolute love!
