I finally stepped foot in Manila for the first time...LOL.  Hubby and I went to Manila last May 8 & 9 and took the first early flight home to Cebu last May 10.  It definitely was a fun experience.

Just arrived at NAIA terminal 3. We waited for a shuttle bus going to TAFT area. I had no clue it was that hot in Manila! and the traffic was horrible.

After a long day of walking and riding both the LRT and MRT, we were tired and hungry.  Our first choice was Burger King! because it's not available in Cebu yet. Burger King please do come to Cebu!

Chillin at Kabayan Hotel Pasay with Snyder's Of Hanover Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips and paired with French Onion Cheese Dip. By the way, I didn't finish the whole pack LOL!

We went to MOA on the second day and bought 5K worth of toys from Toy Kingdom for our little boy ^_^.  MOA is definitely huge, too bad I didn't get the chance to try the Director's Club because it was "The Avengers" that was showing but we've already seen the movie, thus the reason for not trying it.

I bought some stuff at Watson's MOA since I didn't bring any skin care stuff with me.  I wasn't expecting that I'd be needing a facial moisturizer.  The heat in Manila made my skin super dry and that's the first time I've used so much moisturizer on my face and still felt it was dry.

I bought these false eyelashes and makeup brush at Landmark when we were in Makati.  Since we're in a hurry, I didn't get a chance to really check out other stuff at Landmark.

Hubby and I are going back to Manila on June 6 & 7, I hope I can meetup with fellow beauty bloggers there. ^_^

Good day ladies! I finally had time to blog, after being gone for over a week now. I've been so busy with work and I also recently went to Manila for the first time. I stayed there for 2 days and it has been an adventure.  Sorry for not telling you ladies. ^_^


I finally decided to buy this palette because I wanted to have an array of pretty neutral colors especially for Wedding Makeup Gigs. The Dollface Cosmetics Barenaked Palette is the perfect fit.

My elf goodies finally arrived. Last December 2011, the eyeslipsface.com had a 60% off sale on all items for 1 day. So my dear friend, Loien who's from Florida, bought me the 11-pc ELF Studio brush set and the ELF Beauty Manual.


The elf stuff came together with the Balikbayan Box she sent for her family, thus the reason for several months of waiting.  I'm so grateful that she so kindly bought me these.  This is the perks for having good friends who support my hobby... LOL ^_^

This is the first time I actually ever had a MAC Cosmetics haul! I'm just so giddy to show you my Mac picks.


These stuff served as my product payment, while I worked as a Guest Makeup Artist at MAC Cosmetics Rustan's Ayala Center Cebu.  Although it was only 3 days, I get to experience what it felt like to work inside a Mall while standing at the Mac counter for long hours.

The only thing I enjoyed the most was having the opportunity to do our customer's Makeup especially if it's a complete Makeover and meeting potential clients who wanted me to do their makeup. Other than that, I hated the lower back pains and sore feet...hahaha

Hey ladies, it's another hot summer here in the Philippines! I missed doing some makeup looks so I finally came up with a neutral bronzed look, that's perfect this hot summer.

It hasn't been that long since I've started to groom my brows.  If your not someone who wears makeup often, you'll be surprised to see how much well groomed brows can make you look pretty and polished.

Etude House Ayala Center Cebu Branch recently opened so I went in to check out some of their stuff. I found the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil because the price caught my attention. It is sold for only Php128.00.  So, I started swatching and liked the formulation of the product. I bought shade #01 which is dark brown.

I recently bought another pair of wedge shoes from Payless Shoe Source. I  never would have thought that it's so comfortable to wear.


This is the Havane Vent Wedge in Tan from Deflex line by DEXTER.  I got this for Php1,250.00 from the Payless Shoe Source in Ayala  Center Cebu.  Although the price a bit steep, I really didn't regret buying this because I can pair it with almost any outfit.


Deflex by Dexter features memory foam insoles which offers two layers bounce back for extra comfort. It has extra cushioning which relieves pressure points in ball and heel of foot. Lastly, it has flexible outsole for ease of movement.

I'm a size 10 so my go to store for shoes is Payless since they offer big shoes sizes.  I always get frustrated when I search for shoes because most brands here in Philippines only carries size 9 as the biggest shoe size for women.
