My good friend Khymm of Shopcoholic for Makeup gave these polishes to me a few months ago, just because. ^_^  (thanks kimy) I just haven't got around to wearing these on my nails, thus the reason for the super delayed swatches. 

Both shades Demure and Temptress were actually part of the Revlon Fire and Ice Collection which was launched back in 2010.  These are limited edition shades so I'm not sure if it's still available in our local Revlon counters. Just try to browse Ebay you might still find these shades there.

* The smudge brush and the fan brush are practically useless. The smudge brush doesn't do what it is supposed to do since it's just too small.  The fan brush sheds, probably because the bristles are too thin, I feel like it needs to be thicker.

Overall these are awesome brushes considering the price.  They perform way better compared to other cheap brushes. I think these is a perfect brush set for beginners since they are affordable and very easy to work with.  I like most of the brushes that came with this set, I just wish the face brushes were a little more dense and packed. 

I also like the brush case that came with this set because it can be zipped and there is extra room for other brushes to fit. Do let me know what you think about these brushes.

I think some of the ELF Studio brush are now sold individually on our local elf counters. But if you want to buy the set, you can check out local online shops on either ebay.ph or multiply it's sold around Php1,200 - Php1,400 depending on the seller.

What I like about it...

* inexpensive at only 198.00 pesos

* thickens and lengthens lashes

* does not clump and really defines lashes

* medium sized applicator

* dries quickly

* did not irritate my eye

* works well with any mascara

* made my mascara last long even though it isn't in waterproof formula

* available locally

What I don't like...

*  none that I can think of. this stuff really works!

Lashes with Etude House Petticoat

I'm glad I found this product before I picked up the MAC Prep + Prime Lash.  My friend just bought the MAC lash primer and I compared Etude House primer with it. It really gives off the same effect.  

I also tried using this to clients with really short lashes, and the Etude House Oh m'Eye Lash Petticoat didn't fail me.  It helped define and lengthen their lashes.  Some of my clients do not like to wear false eyelashes, so this makes a really good alternative. I would definitely recommend this to those needing an eyelash primer.

Product Info from The Body Shop

A gentle exfoliating scrub that removes dead skin cells whilst invigorating. 

Leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and better prepared to absorb moisture, 

plus it’s subtly scented with our tantalizing Wild Cherry fragrance.

This was given by a friend who came home from Singapore last summer.  I noticed from the website that it's not available in all Body Shop stores.  It retails for $29.00 Singaporean Dollars.  So I'm not sure if this is available locally because I haven't seen this in our local Body Shop stores.

This is nothing like the usual Body Scrubs I've tried.  Most of the body scrubs I tried before had exfoliating beads in them that just melts in your skin while scrubbing. However, The Body Shop Wild Cherry Body Scrub just sits on top of your skin until you wash them off.  It has visible Kiwi seeds in this gel-like texture.

What I like about it...

* smells like cherry candies, but it might be too overpowering for some

* has big Kiwi seeds and small walnut granules

* 200ml goes a long way

* leaves my skin smooth after massaging the product

* leaves my skin scented even after washing

What I don't like...

* can be expensive, better if you buy this during sales

* leaves my skin dry, so I need to apply tons of lotion after using it

* the Kiwi seeds actually does nothing

* not available in all Body Shop stores

My rating: 2 / 5

Unfortunately, I only like this product for the scent but other than that it doesn't really do anything else for me.  I would not recommend this at all since I've tried better body scrubs that are way more affordable.  If you have dry skin, skip this.  But if you'd like to smell like sweet cherry candies after bathing, you will like this.

Final look

I made this look as wearable as much as possible so that you won't end up looking like a clown.  So if you're going out to a beach party this look might help you.  I also made an eye guide as to where I placed the specific colors for this look, refer to the image below.

Eye Guide

I lined my upper lash line with black eyeliner as thinly as possible so that the colors would show.  I lined my waterline with a purple eyeliner so that it won't look too harsh.  Also for the lips, I just dabbed a little gloss on center part to give that pouty lip effect.  Let me know what you ladies think about this look. ^_^
