Good Day ladies! I'm slacking on my blog posts again. I just had a very busy week, and I didn't have time to take product photos. To summarize everything that happened, my younger sister graduated from college with a BS Psychology degree and my little Enzo just graduated with honors from Kinder 2 (I'm a Proud Mama!). My sister-in-law and my husband just graduated from law school, Yay! on to the Bar Exams! My older brother and I just celebrated our Birthdays. So, there were a lot of food feast involved, thus explains my busy week. LOL

Okay, enough blabber from me on to the review.  Like some of you, I am still on the hunt for my HG (holy grail) Face Toner. After finishing up my Moringa O2 Facial Toner, I decided to try out the Ziaja Phytoaktiv Face Toner which I bought at Beauty Bar last December 2013. I was just randomly looking at products from Beauty Bar then this baby pink cap caught my eye. When I read what was written on the bottle, it said that it was for sensitive skin and it was alcohol free, so I immediately bought it. After finally finishing up the whole bottle, here is what I have to say.

Hey ladies, If you've been reading some of my older post, you'd notice that I seldom do skin care reviews on my blog, because honestly, I find it a smidge more tedious as compared to doing a regular makeup review.

I want to test out skin care products for as long as I can especially if it has anti-aging properties. Not 1 or 2 weeks, not even a month would do for me. You and I both know that we can't see results in just a month's time especially when it comes to skin care products.  Now, I don't want to name names, but it irks me sometimes to read other skin care reviews, only to find out that they've been using it for just a couple of weeks.

Hey ladies, after being MIA (missing in action) for about a week, I'm finally back and am trying to catch up with new posts. Where was I? Well, I was at the hospital for a week because my little angel, Ehron Isaac (8 months old) got terribly sick. He was diagnosed with Pneumonia on both lungs. His right lung was already full of phlegm and had a big possibility to collapse at any time. This triggered an asthma attack, where he had labored breathing. He's all better now, but still taking antibiotics.

Anyway, I'll stop blabbing now. hehe Back to the Covergirl Lipsticks. I got these lipsticks last February and I have been using a couple of these all month long, so I thought I'd show you the my current lipstick picks.


What I like about it....
* inexpensive
* excellent color payoff, very pigmented
* glides on smoothly, which makes it very easy to apply
* has decent staying power, starts to fade after 4 hours on me
* moisturizing and does not make my lips dry
* does not settle on fine lines
* offers a wide selection of colors

What I don't like...
* has an earthy smell, sometimes it reminds me of an old lady scent. But the smell goes away after application so it's okay.

My rating: 4 / 5

I have been using Sultry the most amongst all four lippies, because it's the perfect everyday nude lipstick for me. Would I recommend these? Yes. If you already love Revlon's super lustrous lipsticks then you'll love these even more. ^_^

It's time for another giveaway. Yay! My Birthday is coming next month and I think it's high time that I host another giveaway. I didn't do another giveaway last year because of a bad experience that I had with a couple of readers who were sour-graping about loosing. They were making up stories that I chose the winner because we were friends, which isn't true at all. Gah! enough about that infuriating memory. I know I should be feeling sad right now because I'm turning another year older. I will be turning 30 by April this year. huhuhu I feel so old! But on the bright side, it's another excuse for me to treat myself to more makeup. LOL


Next on my list is The Balm Instain Blush in Toile.  I have adored the shade of this blush ever since it was launched by The Balm.  The fact that it stays longer than most powder blushes makes me want to buy it even more.

I saw one of my favorite youtube beauty gurus rave about the Lorac Unzipped Palette last year (2013), and it has never left my thought since then. The shades in this eyeshadow palette are just too darn pretty! I almost feel that it’s screaming my name saying “come get me”. LOL... It is definitely my kind of neutral palette.
I was browsing the beauty section of Zalora PH and saw that they already carry premium makeup products and Urban Decay was one of them.  I was reminded how much I wanted to get the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette last year. It's just that I can see myself using this palette regularly because the shades are something I can easily blend with the rest of the eyeshadow that I already have in my collection.
